Joel A. Ziebarth, M.D.
Sanford Laboratories Associate Medical Director - Sioux Falls
Dr. Ziebarth, Associate Medical Director for Sanford Laboratories, is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. His professional interests and assignments include surgical pathology, CAP Laboratory Inspector, and teaching.

After graduation from medical school at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, Dr. Ziebarth completed his pathology residency at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Sioux Falls. He completed a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Dr. Ziebarth, Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology, is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Dr. Ziebarth is active in the region as a consulting pathologist and is available for consultative support to Sanford Laboratories clients. He became Sanford Laboratories' Associate Medical Director in 1999, when he joined LCM Pathologists, P.C.
