Client Support


Professional Client Support Representatives cordially respond to all phone inquiries, helping with any questions or concerns related to laboratory services.

Strong technical backgrounds and reference laboratory experience prepare our Client Support Representatives to be your local resource.

We are here for you -- 605-328-5464 or 800-522-2561

Client Support office hours are listed below:
  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Client Support is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by cell phone with instant access to laboratory data via a laptop computer.

Client Support can also access technical and pathology support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Client Support Staff
Our Client Support Staff has over 200 combined years of laboratory experience to better enable us to assist you and answer your questions. Our representatives have extensive technical backgrounds that include both laboratory training and nursing experience that allow us to relate personally to you. Much has changed over the years; however, one thing remains constant--and that is our commitment to you, our clients. Our entire team is committed to providing you with the most up-to-date, quality laboratory services...for you and your patients.


Sue H., Client Support Supervisor
Sue is a former Licensed Practical Nurse with 6 years of nursing experience and 29 years of laboratory experience. She finds it "so rewarding to work with such a wonderful team of caring Client Support professionals, plus all of the healthcare personnel with whom we come in contact with every day...all striving to make a difference in people's lives."



Mary D., MLT(ASCP)
Mary is Sanford Laboratories' Operations Manager and is one of the "original" Sanford Laboratories staff members. She has an Associates of Science degree and over 30 years of laboratory experience. Because we serve a regional area, Mary "enjoys the bond you build with each client when visiting with them on a routine basis."


Stephanie J., MT(ASCP), Assistant Client Support Supervisor
With 18 years of laboratory experience at a small rural hospital to a large tertiary hospital and various sized clinic settings, Stephanie understands and enjoys helping solve problems for clients. She believes her Client Support role "helps you understand the full realm of healthcare, in that each day you deal with many different healthcare professionals."


Jill A., MLT(ASCP)
Jill's over 25 years of laboratory background and a Bachelor of Arts degree are keys to her success in assisting our clients. Because each and every day is different, Jill "…enjoys the challenge of keeping up with the constant changes in the field of laboratory medicine."


Deb B., MT(ASCP), NCA
Using her 19 years of laboratory experience and B.S. degree in Biology and Medical Technology, Deb "enjoys the interaction with so many different clients each day. It's very rewarding to have a part in making someone's day go a little smoother."


Mary Beth P., MT(ASCP)
Because she has worked in a wide variety of laboratory settings for over 35 years, Mary Beth emphasizes she understands that "No question is a stupid question. I might not know the answer, but I'll help find it."


Rhonda R., MLT(ASCP)
One of the many aspects Rhonda finds rewarding is "providing daily support to our clients, health care providers, and patients." Her 35 years of laboratory experience contribute to her success as a resource person for the Client Support team.


Cathy H., MLT(ASCP)
Cathy comments "Each and every day is different," which describes well why her 23 years of clinical laboratory experience are so helpful as she performs her job each day. She finds it very rewarding to "answer questions and solve problems for so many different clients."


Jenna P., MLT(ASCP)cm, NCA
Jenna has nearly 8 years of laboratory experience: almost 2 years at a large tertiary hospital laboratory and 6 years at Sanford Laboratories. Jenna shares "every day is different and full of new challenges. I enjoy gaining knowledge and passing it on to many different health care professionals... with a goal in helping all of our clients move forward."



Dawn G., MLS(ASCP) brings to her position at Sanford Laboratories Client Support 4 years of laboratory experience in a clinic laboratory, 1 year in a rural hospital, and most recently, 11 years in a metropolitan hospital. Dawn finds that she "never has the same day twice. We choose healthcare to better the quality of other's lives, but you never imagine how they will touch yours also."
